  HDPE Geomembrane

Reservoirs & Ponds Malaysia Reservoirs & Ponds

The major usage of polyethylene geomembrane is in the area of liquid containment. The Geomembrane acts as a pond liner to prevent contaminants from entering groundwater source or streams. In addition, the geomembrane prevents seepage loss thereby conserving millions of gallons of water annually in potable water applications. Typical application include agriculture ponds, golf courses, resorts and other recreational applications.

Irrigation Canals

Polyethylene Geomembrane provides an excellent alternative to or supplements concrete and compacted earth in canal linings to reduce the substantial seepage reported by government agencies. The geomembrane offers an expedient method to repair existing deteriorated concrete linings.

Malaysia Secondary Containment Secondary Containment

Polyethylene geomembrane can be used on ringwalls made from concrete to provide a low permeability, high chemical resistance flexible barrier to ensure against accidental chemical spills. It can be placed directly on the ground to prevent ground water containment in the event of spill. The deterioration of concrete structures and steel tanks containing potentially environmentally harmful products makes high density polyethylene the best choice as a secondary containment solution.

Storage Tanks Malaysia Storage Tanks

Polyethylene geomembrane are used to lined internally on tank to solve problem on seam leakage/failure cause by thermal movement and ultraviolet ray. Corrosion also plays a key role in the deterioration of tanks. This method of a tanks within a tank is a proven technology that ensure total sealing efficiency and durability.

Malaysia Landfills Landfills

A critical element in the proper functioning of a landfill containment system is the liner(s). The use of geomembranes on the bottom and sides of a landfill as an integrated leachate collection system and a leak detection system has been considered necessary for many years. Polyethylene geomembrane, resistant to most wastes, is used as an impermeable, flexible barrier to prevent interaction of landfill moisture with containminated wastes to form leachate which could have unwanted variable characteristics. Polyethylene geomembranes are used in hazardous and non-hazardous landfills.

Mining Malaysia Geomembrane Solution For Mining

The heap leach method of mineral extration using sodium cyanide has resulted in low cost extraction of minerals (gold, silver and cooper) from low grade ores. Polyethylene geomembrane is used as an impermeable flexible barrier to prevent containmination of the soil and groundwater by the chemical extraction solutions, as well as the recapturing and recycling of the solutions.

In tailing dams it provides a secure membrane between the tailings pile and the environmnt, including drinking water, as it is able to withstand the pressure exerted onto it by the tailings and the sharpedges from the tailings pile.

Malaysia Aquaculture Aquaculture

The key benefit of using Polyethylene Geomembrane in aquaculture

  • Provide positive water containment
  • Prevent loss of dissolved oxygen.
  • Help sustain water quality.
  • Improve working environmnt.
  • Establish erosion control.
  • Lower maintenance cost.
  • Reduce disease isk.
  • Manage waste removal.
  • Ease harvesting.
  • Increase turn-around time between crops.
